Witney, Oxfordshire, e2e-assure, the leading SOC and MDR provider, has today announced
cybersecurity expert, Tim Anderson as its new Chief Commercial Officer.
Tim will take on overall responsibility for developing e2e-assure’s commercial strategy, a role which
embraces sales, product development, customer service and business growth.
Commenting on his new appointment, Tim says “What impressed me most about e2e-assure was
its early realisation that solutions need to be built from the ground up. It’s not simply a matter of
throwing technology at a problem. There is a firm belief within the business — and it is a belief I
wholeheartedly share — that the most important aspect of any SOC is investing in high-performing
analysts. The best analysts have a thorough understanding of cyber threats and defence technology.
They know how to interpret detection signals and respond swiftly and accordingly to get the best
results for the customer.
Threat intelligence is sadly lacking in many organisations. This is where e2e stands out. It builds
solutions around uncovering threats proactively rather than relying solely on reactive methods.
Being able to offer a SOC solution that was intelligence-led was pivotal in my decision to join the
business.”
Tim began his cybersecurity career back in 2000 at a time when cyber defence to many, meant little
more than installing anti-viral software. For the past twenty-three years, Tim has witnessed first-
hand, the industry’s evolution where threats to businesses have increased exponentially and he has
gained a deep appreciation for the importance of threat intelligence. The last five years saw Tim
build and lead NCC Group’s global Managed Services propositions and market strategies, taking
them from a near standing start to an annual revenue of almost £100m.
Rob Demain, CEO and Founder of e2e-assure comments, “It was clear from our first meeting that
Tim was not only a seasoned professional in the cybersecurity industry, but also that he was
passionate about the importance of investment, education and market understanding. He shares
our goals, vision and raison d’être, and I can think of no better person to be joining us in the role of
Chief Commercial Officer.”
