e2e-assure are recruiting an Infrastructure Server & Network Engineer with existing skill-levels to work in a lively and experienced team providing Design, Build support services to our ever-growing portfolio of commercial and government clients.  We have developed an industry-leading G-Cloud PaaS and IaaS infrastructure and we provide a number of protective services designed to protect an organisation from cyber-attacks.

We are looking to augment our team with talented individuals who are keen to develop their career in cloud, security and infrastructure.

We will provide the support and guidance to enable you to develop in your role.

Key Responsibilities

• Building and deploying systems and platforms in our private Azure and AWS Clouds
• Offering technical support to internal SOC and private cloud clients

Candidate Attributes

Essentials:

• Firewall setup and configuration experience on prem and cloud
• VPN configuration experience securely connecting on prem and cloud platforms
• Windows or Linux Operating systems
• Azure/AWS Network/Firewall Security Experience
• Excellent attention to detail & keen to learn new skills and work with new technologies
• 5 years residency in UK or pre-existing Security Clearance

 Desirable Experience:

• Vendor Firewall Trained to one of the following Firewall vendors:
  • Cisco
  • FortiGate
  • Palo Alto
  • Watchguard
• Network routing and switching design build and support
• Understanding of PKI & secure Remote Access Solutions
• Familiar working within in ISO 27001 framework

Additional Information

Location: This is a hybrid role. You should be able to commute regularly to our office in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, although you may work from home much of the time. Some further travel will also be required.

Hours:  40 hours per week.

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

After being provisionally offered a job, candidates will be DBS and background checked by a third-party and must be willing to attain SC and NPPV3 clearances (we will put you through this process). Failure to pass these checks may result in your application being discontinued.
